Shadows of Latin America (SoLA) ist ein Location-Quellenbuch für Shadowrun, dass als ursprünglich als offizielle Publikation geplant war, durch ungünstige Umstände aber nie zur Veröffentlichung durch den Shadowrun-Lizenznehmer kam, und nun als inoffizielles Projekt veröffentlicht worden ist. Es ist zeitlich in den 2060ern angesiedelt und beschäftigt sich mit den Staaten Zentral- und Südamerikas beschäftigt. Es ist im Stile von Shadows of North America, Europe und Asia gehalten. Dadurch, dass der Inhalt ursprünglich für ein offizielles Quellenbuch vorgesehen war, ist er kompatibel mit älterem Shadowrun-Material und wird außerdem dort als Quelle betrachtet, wo neuere Informationen nicht widersprechen.

Shadows of Latin America explores the many countries and territories of Central and South America in the world of Shadowrun. Each profile includes details on location hot spots, government and corporate rulers, the criminal underground and religious factions. It provides extensive updates on the Awakened nations of Azlan and Amazonia, as well as a selection of paranormal flora and fauna to be found in the deep jungles.
